  • Virtune Hyperliquid ETP gives HYPE price exposure in a brokerage account.
  • The ETP does not provide Hyperliquid trading access or a leveraged venue position.
  • HYPE can be staked on its network, but this security does not pass through staking rewards.

Can you buy HYPE through a regular broker?

Yes. HYPE price exposure is available through Virtune Hyperliquid ETP, a security listed on European stock exchanges. A broker that offers one of its listings can hold the ETP in your brokerage account.

Why buy HYPE through an ETP?

Virtune Hyperliquid ETP makes HYPE price exposure available as a listed security without using Hyperliquid's trading venue. You can hold it through a broker without setting up a wallet or managing the keys needed to hold HYPE yourself.

The product is physically backed by HYPE held in custody as collateral. The HYPE holdings provide collateral behind investors' claims on Virtune, while the investor owns the ETP. The ETP does not give you access to Hyperliquid's trading functions, and it does not stake HYPE or pass through staking rewards. HYPE backing still carries issuer, collateral and custody risks, and continuous HYPE trading can cause a price gap when the ETP's exchange reopens.

Where is the ETP listed?

Virtune Hyperliquid ETP has ISIN SE0028425314. Its tickers are VRTH on Xetra, VIRHYPE on Nasdaq Stockholm, VIRHYPEE on Nasdaq Helsinki and ETNVIRHYPE on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

See all available brokers on the Hyperliquid ETP product page, then choose the provider and listing for your market.

What does it cost?

The fee below applies to Virtune Hyperliquid ETP, separately from using Hyperliquid's trading venue. The guide to crypto ETP trading costs covers the spread and broker charges on the security.

Hyperliquid is the venue; HYPE is the token

Hyperliquid is a blockchain network with a trading venue built into it. HYPE is its crypto-asset: it can be delegated to validators and pays HyperEVM network fees. What Hyperliquid is explains how the trading infrastructure and token relate.

Buying HYPE tokens gives a crypto-asset holding, either in a provider's custody or in a personal wallet. Tokens in a wallet can participate in network functions. Virtune Hyperliquid ETP instead follows HYPE's price through a security. A fall in HYPE's price can reduce the ETP's value. Holding the security is not a leveraged position on Hyperliquid's trading venue, and it does not provide trading-fee discounts.
